It is of great important in the structural layout and topology design of space vehicles to account for the attitude control efforts as well as the control performance by optimizing the mass center position and the mass moment of inertia. Thus arises a new type of structural topology optimizaiton problem. This project investigates the theory and the numerical techniques of the topology optimization considerting the control efforts and the performance of the attitude control of space vehicles.
