Studies on Integrated Numerical Simulation Platforms for Disaster Evolution of Civil Infrastructure under Strong Wind and Earthquake

The project is to design and develope an numerical software platform for dynamic harzards analysis of key engineeirng structures. Main tasks are: a) design of engineering database system for large scale computation, b) developement of integrative techniques based on flowchart integration and script languadge, c) framework design of nonlinear finite element analysis system and design patterns for numerical algorithms, d) investigation of high precise algoirhtms based on multi-level and multi-branch sub-structuring methods, e) implementation of finite element system for large scale computation based on distributed computational envirovment. The characteristics of the software platform are open style, system integration oriented, and large scale compuation. The overall software system will be applied to integrate the theory, numerical algorithms, software system/modules for other research groups in this key project.
