The reliability and service life of the load-bearing composite components of aircraft are directly affected by their loading capacity, which is one of the main performance indexes. It is difficult to analyze and evaluate the loading capacity of large load-bearing composite components because of their complex structure, service loading variability, anisotropic material properties, dispersion and environment dependent. Especially, the uncertainty distribution of defects and damages in composite component structure induced by manufacturing process makes analysis of the loading capacity a challenging problem. In this subproject, the scientific problems "Propagation of the manufacturing defects and damages of the composite components, and its mapping relationship with the loading capacity during its service period" is focused on. The damage propagation rule is researched based on the requirements of analysis and evaluation on loading capacity of large load-bearing composite components with manufacturing defects and damages during service period. The classification method of composite manufacturing defects and damages is proposed, based on which the trans-scale damage constitutive model is established. The loading capacity sensitivity of the composite components to manufacturing damages is investigated, and the effective analysis method for the loading capacity of the composite components is presented. The evaluation software platform of the loading capacity of composite components with manufacturing damages is developed. In a word, the investigation of this subproject will provide the theory and effective methods for analysis and evaluation on loading capacity of large load-bearing composite components with manufacturing defects and damages.
