报告摘要

Fatigue  design of Circular Hollow Section (CHS) tubular joints plays a crucial  role in the structural integrity of offshore wind turbine jacket-type  support structures. These joints connect members of the jacket,  effectively transferring loads from environmental forces to the  foundation. Due to the dynamic and cyclic loading in response to  offshore environments, the tubular joints are susceptible to fatigue  failure over time.

This  seminar will provide an overview of the fatigue design principles for  CHS tubular joints, focusing on the methodologies used in the marine  offshore industry. A case study based on a spectral fatigue assessment  of offshore fixed jacket structures, highlighting practical approaches  to ensuring the long-term durability and safety of CHS tubular joints of  offshore wind turbine support structures.
