世界著名计算力学专家、计算力学领域领袖级学者、美国西北大学Liu.W.K教授将于3月9日至14日对工程力学系和工业装备结构分析国家重点实验室进行学术访问。期间我校还将授予其名誉教授教称号。Liu教授来访期间将做多场学术报告并与我们就计算力学领域的前沿问题开展深入的研讨，欢迎广大师生积极参与。Liu教授的学术报告地点在综合实验一号楼602房间，学术报告的初步日程请见附件。
Liu.W.K教授简介：Liu.W.K教授现任美国国家力学委员会副理事长，国际计算力学学会副主席，美国西北大学机械工程系Walter P. Murphy终身教授。他1981年在加州理工大学获得博士学位后赴美国西北大学任教，主要从事计算力学的教学、研究。他在多尺度计算、无网格法等方面做出了为同行所公认的奠基性贡献，是世界计算力学领域的领袖级学者。Liu教授已发表国际期刊和会议论文350余篇，研究工作累计被引用30000余次（Google），H因子高达80. 曾获得过包括世界计算力学协会最高奖项Gauss-Newton奖等在内的众多荣誉。
