Instrument development for inspecting dynamic buckling behavior of composite structures

This project will research and develop detection technology and instrument system for dynamic buckling experiment of composite structures. Develop full-time and full-field morphology test method for discontinuous surface. Develop surface buckling mode visualization and real-time detection technology. Develop a portable detection instrument and an automatic test analysis software system for buckling mode of lightweight composite structure. Achieve the visual field testing for dynamic buckling instability of composite wall structure. Research the instability experiment and failure mechanism for typical structural components of modern composite aircraft. Providing a fast and effective experimental detection tool and analysis method for the basic science issue in aviation and aerospace fields.
